Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-28T12:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-07-28T12:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S05W40
Active Region Number: 13762
Note Keyword:
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: CME visible to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and N/NW STEREO A COR2. The source is likely the M7.7 flare peaking at 2024-07-28T10:42Z from AR 3762. An associated eruption directed to the north of the active region, best seen as dimming centered around N05W45, is visible in SDO AIA 193/284 and GOES SUVI 335 starting at 2024-07-28T10:48Z. The eruption is also visible in STEREO A EUV imagery.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
